This dashing wine will most definitely be amongst the Cabernet Franc darlings of the vintage! An aromatic cacophony of dense, dark cherries, espresso and a touch of Rooibos lifts from the glass in such an elegant manner. Not overly structured or tannic, the palate is fresh and showy with fine acidity, yielding a smooth transition into a bouquet of dried currants, dark chocolate, French Oak vanillin and blackberry reduction. If cellared, we believe this wine will age well into 2035-2040 (how cool would it be if we could actually avoid drinking it all until then?!). Serve with a braised beef brisket or short rib, spiced Moroccan Lamb Tagine, rich Camembert or Gorgonzola. Plus, it is divine with any chocolate dessert!
