‘Our 2021 'the intention' Cabernet Franc falls right in line with just how good drought years can be due to lighter yields and small, intensely concentrated berries on the vine.

This fine Franc begins with a gorgeous garnet colored rim and lifted aromatics of ripe red fruit, minced dried herbs, toffee, toast, and a touch of espresso. The palate is generous on the entry with plenty of finesse and no bite whatsoever. The tannins are plenty and respectful of the dark blackberry, kirsch, and dried black cherry fruit. The flavors swirl around the tongue and linger on the palate. All told this finish goes beyond a minute, whirling gracefully around the mouth. I’m excited to see the evolution in a few years and expect it to age well into the future.'
