2021 'the joy' Rosé of Pinot Noir
This wine is such a wonderful way to first welcome the fruits of our harvest labors. This beautifully light salmon-hued Rosé is the first bottling produced from each vintage and serves as a metaphor of the vintage: 2021 tells a story of finesse and freshness. Leaning heavily on citrus and lemon skin, there are nuances of tangy strawberry juice, minerals and zest on the palate, followed by a succulent middle and very long finish.
Fans of crisp, clean, dry Rosé will be moved by this wine and I wholly anticipate it being cellared a couple years with near perfect titratable acidity of 7.6 g/L and 3.26 pH. Harvested August 21st with an average 21 degrees Brix. This wine is always whole cluster pressed, stainless steel fermented and neutral oak aged. 396 cases produced.
